Füsun Baktagir is a kanun player and instructor. She began her musical education at a young age, specializing in traditional Turkish music. She has been working with her husband, the renowned kanun virtuoso Göksel Baktagir, for many years, both on stage and in education.

Füsun Baktagir conducts workshops teaching the basic techniques of Turkish music performance, particularly the kanun, and provides one-on-one support to beginner and intermediate students. Known for her patient and disciplined communication with her students, Baktagir has participated in various educational projects both domestically and internationally.

She also contributes significantly to Turkish music education by serving as an instructor or assistant instructor in several projects directed by Göksel Baktagir.
