🎶Workshop: “Vocal Techniques Workshop”
🎤Seminar: “Breathing, Posture, and Voice Exercises in Vocal Training”
In this workshop and seminar:
• Participants will develop correct breathing habits,
• Participants will learn proper posture and stage presence,
• Participants will enhance their vocal range and the quality of their voice,
• Participants will improve their sense of rhythm,
• Participants will address issues related to tongue, jaw, and lip tension,
• Participants will receive supportive exercises for correct articulation and speech training,
• Confidence-building exercises will be provided for participants who struggle with speaking in public or feel shy,
• Various stage techniques will be discussed to address distractions and improve focus,
• Techniques for maintaining vocal health will be taught to those singing in genres such as Pop, Jazz, Rock, Turkish Art Music, and Turkish Folk Music, whether amateur or professional,
• Participants will learn how to enhance their performance while singing,
• Participants will receive international-level training, and
• Repertoire work will be conducted with professionals.

Who is İlkim Kanber?
İlkim Kanber began her music education in 2003 by joining the TRT Polyphonic Children's Choir. She continued her work under the TRT umbrella from 2003 to 2008, participating in various concerts, festivals, and competitions across Turkey. She continued her education by taking violin lessons with Dr. Kemal YILDIRIM at 9 Eylül University from 2008 to 2010. She played the lead role of "Clown" in the theater play "Benim Güzel Pabuçlarım," written by Dersu Yavuz ALTUN.
From 2010 to 2014, she graduated from Işılay Saygın Fine Arts High School. During her time there, she won a Silver Diploma for her country at the 13th Edizione Concorso Corale Internazionale (International Choir Competition) held in Riva Del Garda, Italy, with the Parofania Choir under the direction of Ali İlhan AKYUNAK.
In 2014, she was admitted to the Opera and Vocal Department of the State Conservatory at Dokuz Eylül University. There, she started working with Prof. Soprano Zibelhan DAĞDELEN. In the same year, she participated in a vocal masterclass with Zurich Opera House singer Roberto Scandiuzzi and a masterclass with baritone soloist Eralp Kıyıcı at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. She also performed in the play "Yaşam Bizi Söyledi," directed by meditational dance expert and general artistic director Öğr. Gör. Sevinç Renkver.
During her education, she performed Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" in collaboration with the Mozart Academy and Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center. She also performed Fazıl Say's "Nazım Oratoryosu" at the same center with Mozart Academy.
In 2018, she took stage theory and technical interpretation lessons with Italian director Giovanna Maresta. She then continued her studies with Öğr. Gör. Birgül Su ARİÇ. She performed the aria "Ja, wir sind es, die Grisetten" as Valencienne in Franz Lehar's operette "Die lustige Witwe" (The Merry Widow) directed by Yrd. Doc. Ahmet Alper Kazancıoğlu during "Sahne Gecesi."
Currently, she is working as a chorus artist in Tolga Taviş's "Sensin Atatürk," a melodrama for Chamber Choir and Symphony Orchestra, with the world premiere planned with İzmir State Symphony Orchestra. She participated in the "VOICE ISTANBUL International Conference on Voice in All Aspects" held from September 19-22, 2019, organized by the Professional Voice Association, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists, and Medipol University, under the co-chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Kürşat YELKEN and Assoc. Dr. Sevtap AKBULUT.
She collaborated with Bursa Pamukkale State Conservatory and Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory in Mozart's "Don Giovanni," performing as a chorus artist at Merinos AKKM in Bursa and İzmir Sabancı Cultural Center. She completed her vocal studies with Assoc. Dr. Linet Şaul at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory and obtained a 'Pedagogical Formation Education Certificate Program' from Ege University Faculty of Education.
Currently, she is pursuing a master's program in Opera-Vocal at the Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Institute. She also teaches vocal training at Asuman DABAK's theater school and private Alkış Music and Ballet course. She participated in the "Donald Gray Miller Singing Voice Science Workshop," designed as a summit of science, pedagogy, and performance in New York, covering anatomy and physiology, classical and popular vocal styles, voice pedagogy, basic acoustics, vocal tract mechanics, electroglottography (EGG), ultrasound imaging of the tongue, respiratory science, hearing science, and course design.
She received training in the VoceVista Video Program, a visual feedback software developed by Donald Gray Miller. She also conducts clinical observations of professional voice practitioners at the Vocology Center with Assoc. Dr. İlter Denizoğlu and was invited to the Pristina Gala Concert by renowned Kosovan tenor Rame Lahaj, where she represented her country successfully. She performed at Kenan Doğulu's 100th Year concert under the direction of State Opera and Ballet Conductor Murat Cem Orhon.
She is currently engaged in vocal training, vocal coaching, and studio recording coaching.

Who is Kıvanç Kanber?
Kıvanç Kanber began his music education in 2014 after being accepted into the 9 Eylül University Stage Arts Opera-Singing Department, initially performing leading roles in various musicals staged by the Theater Opera Ballet Foundation (TOBAV) (2013 Dreams Street Musical — 2014 Incigül Musical). He also performed tenor roles in various concerts at the İsmet İnönü Art Center with the İzmir Art Multivoice Choir (Conductor: Ali Hoca). He started his conservatory education with Tenor Aydın Uştuk, Director of İzmir State Opera and Ballet, at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. He took part in the play "Life Told Us" staged by the meditational dance expert and general art director Öğr. Gör. Sevinç Renkver at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. In the same year, he worked on a vocal masterclass with Zurich Opera House singer Roberto Scandiuzzi. During his continued education, he performed Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center in collaboration with Mozart Academy and the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. He then continued his vocal training with Associate Professor Ahmet Alper Kazancıoğlu at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory. In the "Stage Night" directed by Associate Professor Ahmet Alper Kazancıoğlu, he performed the VivatBacchus tenor duet of the Pedrillo-Osmin characters composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He received stage theory and technical interpretation lessons from Italian Director Giovanna Marestaile. In the summer of 2018, he took a three-month language course at St Giles International in London. In November 2018, he participated as a choir artist in the world premiere of the melodrama "Sensin Atatürk" for chamber choir and symphonic orchestra, composed by Tolga Taviş, conductor at İzmir State Opera and Ballet, and performed by İzmir State Opera and Ballet artist Altuğ Dilmaç. He also took part in the İzmir Festival Orchestra and choir’s season-ending concert at the Adnan Saygun Art Center, conducted by Emin Güven, alongside bass-baritone Burak Bilgili, soprano Nurdan Küçükekmekçi, and tenor Burak Kut. He attended the "VOICE ISTANBUL International Conference on Voice in All Aspects" held from September 19-22, 2019, organized by the Association of Professional Voice, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists, and Medipol University, co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Kürşat Yelken and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevtap Akbulut. He performed as a choir artist in Mozart's Don Giovanni under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Alper Kazancıoğlu in collaboration with Bursa Pamukkale State Conservatory and 9 Eylül University State Conservatory, presenting two performances at Bursa Merinos AKKM and İzmir Sabancı Cultural Center. He completed his vocal training with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Alper Kazancıoğlu at the 9 Eylül University State Conservatory and obtained a Pedagogical Formation Education Certificate from Ege University Faculty of Education. He concluded his training with various vocal concerts, stage events, and theater masterclasses, including performing the tenor role of Danilo in Franz Lehar’s operette Die Lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow). He then took on the role of vocal instructor at the Asuman Dabak Theater School and continued as a vocal instructor at the Alkış Music and Ballet course’s voice workshop section. He participated in the "Donald Gray Miller Singing Voice Science Workshop A subsidiary of Richard Lissemore" in New York, which combined science, pedagogy, and performance, receiving training in anatomy and physiology, vocal pedagogy for classical and popular styles, basic acoustics, vocal tract mechanics, electroglottography (EGG), ultrasound imaging of the tongue, respiratory science, auditory science, medical voice disorders, and course design. He received training in the visual feedback software program "VoceVistaVideo Program," designed and developed by Donald Gray Miller, which features both acoustic output and vocal tract contact coefficient. He is currently making clinical observations of professional voice practitioners at the Vocology Center with Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlter Denizoğlu. He performed at Kenan Doğulu’s 100th Anniversary concert, conducted by Murat Cem Orhon, the conductor of the State Opera and Ballet. He is currently working as a vocal instructor and also continues to work as a Vocal Coach and Studio Recording Coach.
